So a new drop from CdR, and I have been dying to try them out for myself. I went a size up because CdR runs a little small in my eyes, and I wanted the perfect fit!

The Review
From The Website: Cristal is a fantastic new ultra shiny tights design from Cecilia de Rafael. They are among the shiniest tights we have ever had from Cecilia de Rafael, and that is really saying something. This designer has always been known for their amazingly glossy tights and lustrous leg enhancing effects. This is among their most gorgeous yet. Cristal is just stunning and full of richness.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: using my hosiery gloves, I did my scrunch and roll before getting them on the feet. I wanted to be as delicate as possible this morning, just to see how they’re like rolling up on the legs. I did find the inside does tug against the skin a little, but it wasn’t too bad.
These were fine going over my anklets, and they rolled up pretty easily.
On The Legs: I’ve done a few shine comparisons so you can see what they’re like. I wanted to show them in natural lighting and with flash on, to see that sparkle. I will say they do have a lovely shine to them; I would call it a lustre shine, where the legs are glowing! Plus it helps being in a darker shade too, where it really does pop on the legs.
The quality of these are great; I managed to snag them twice but that’s it. I kept them as pristine as possible today, which I was super happy about. With this colour too, it’s hard to spot any damage, especially when it blends with the skin well.
The fit of these are great, and Medium is the one I need to stick to now with CdR. I was a happy Small, until something changed and Small ended up being super tight on the legs. If you are in-between sizes, I advise going one size up just for peace of mind. These do have a nice bit of stretch to them, but if you want that little bit more – size up.
The feel of these are super soft, and really lovely to touch. My dress was gliding past them all day, which is great as I don’t want no friction occurring here. These don’t cause any irritation either, which is a win for those who have sensitive skin too!
The Toes & Ankle: I think these come with reinforced toes, purely because the toe section has a deeper lustre shine that is quite compact, and then it becomes a little looser just under the toes.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.
Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth fitted finish with no wrinkling.
The Waistband & Gusset: this comes with a T-Band, which is great as it shows the reinforcement around the seams and under the band.
The band itself has plenty of stretch and only rolls down on itself slightly as you can see on the sides. Apart from that, they sit flat and don’t move at all, which is great under fitted clothing.
