Even through a heatwave, you’ll still catch me wearing hosiery, and being all in black too. I wanted to create an evening outfit this time around, that would be perfect for this time of year without it looking too odd!

I love these types of dresses; where you can easily take them day to night. I dressed it up with a simple pair of suede sandals to complete the look.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: so I did my usual scrunch and roll wearing my hosiery gloves. I wanted to make sure that these got over my feet and anklets ok, before rolling them up to set in place.

On The Legs: the design of these are so cute, and perfect for Valentine’s. I love patterned tights because of how much they can just change up an outfit, and these really added to the whole ‘date night’ vibe! One thing I did notice is the hearts go in different directions on each leg; I thought it was symmetrical at first until I realised nope! I love it to be honest; something a little different and flirty.

The quality of these are nice, but they could be much better in my opinion. I did find these to snag quite easily; a little more easily than normal! I managed to create little holes as well, which did make me super sad! At the top of the thighs, it does have these markings which I was so unsure about; I had to roll my tights down and back up again as I thought I had bunched them, and it wasn’t that. Luckily they are hidden under my dress, but knowing that they are looking pristine from toe to band is pretty annoying.

The fit of these are true to size, and I didn’t have any issues with them at all. I went to go with Small as I wanted to see if I had to really tug at them and how sheer they would look on the legs. I didn’t have to tug at all, and these didn’t end up being anu sheerer on the legs either. If you are in-between sizes, I recommend going the next size up just to avoid tugging and pulling to get them on.

The feel of these are lovely; they are soft, they are smooth and they don’t irritate either which I am glad about. They sat really well and I didn’t have any issues with the feel of them whatsoever.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes, which are kinda noticeable. I still went and did open toe sandals with them, because not everyone noticed this part!

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

I do like that the heart design comes right down to the toes, including the soles as well. It was a nice touch.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: so we are working with a boxer brief here, which isn’t a bad thing as it gives that extra bit of reinforcement in this area. I felt it was needed as the quality was lacking my my eyes, and as you can see below- I managed to snag them in this area too.

The band itself is great; it holds up so well, doesn’t roll down on itself or shimmy its way down my tushy either. I was really impressed.

These also have a cotton gusset to them, which sits flush against the skin.

I think these are super cute, and perfect for date nights or a special occasion. I mean I would still wear them on a normal day to be honest! I didn’t think the quality was that great frankly, but what can you do?
